GemPool is an IT specialist recruitment agency. Our client is a leader in comprehensive resourcing solutions for the IT sector, and they are seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Automation Lead. You’ll be working with their prestigious partner, a global giant in consumer electronics, software, and digital services.

Duration: 12 Month Contract (extension opportunities)
Rate: €50-55,000 DOE
Location: Cork
Working Conditions: Hybrid – Onsite 3 days, WFH 2 days

Your Role:

• Spearhead the testing of eCommerce services.
• Conduct manual & automation testing, including test planning and preparing detailed reports.
• Diagnose and test end-to-end features manually.
• Author and update manual test cases, automate and run diagnostics on failed tests.
• Design and execute test cases, manage defects, and publish results on a daily build basis.
• Report issues, file bugs, and identify regressions.
• Perform sanity, regression, and smoke testing.
• Maintain meticulous records of test results

What You’ll Bring:

• 5 years of experience in quality assurance
• 1 year of experience leading QA automation testing
• Proficiency with Java, Selenium, Maven, and API tech stack
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software QA, with a preference for e-commerce/web applications testing
• Knowledge of a scripting language
• Expertise in designing and executing test cases
